Mona Farm

Mona Farm is a luxury estate featuring beautifully restored buildings and lush gardens, offering unique accommodations and spaces for both ceremonies and receptions. With its historic houses, award-winning gardens, sweeping lawns, and purpose-built reception venue, Mona Farm is the ideal setting for a romantic destination wedding. Exclusively available for the duration of the booking, guests are invited to explore all the 124-acre property has to offer. Ceremonies can take place anywhere within the eight acres of award-winning gardens, while receptions can be held in the original Woolshed or the Marquee.

Mona Farm Venue Illustrations

Any of our letterpress wedding invitations can feature custom illustrations of Mona Farm at no additional fee. My illustrations include The Bridge entrance and The Coach House, both located within Mona Farm. The Coach House, built in 1903, originally housed the property's Cobb & Co coaches. The illustration highlights this historic building along with its beautiful garden setting. The Bridge illustration captures the stunning stone bridge and lake at the property's entrance, setting the perfect tone for your wedding.

Creating the Illustrations

To create these illustrations, I initially outlined the venues using a pencil and then refined them with a pen to achieve the final image. My drawing style involves using line and shading techniques to add dimension to buildings and scenes. For The Bridge entrance artwork, I focused on detailing the stonework and the greenery that frames it. For The Coach House, I focused on detailing the gardens and trees surrounding the building, contrasting this with a simple treatment of the roof and building front to highlight the structure.
