Turnaround & When To Order

From ordering to postage from our studio, the process generally takes between 4 to 6 weeks depending on how long you need to put together your wording and give feedback on your design proofs.

General times for us to design, revise and print your pieces are listed below.

Initial Design Proofs: 3 Days

Once we have your wording, design notes and 50% deposit, you will receive your initial design proofs within 3 working days. Highly complex designs may take a little longer.

Design Proof revisions: 2 Days

Once we receive your feedback on your design, we make any changes needed to your design with the revised proofs emailed within 2 working days.

Printing: 15 Days

When you are thrilled with your design and have given your final approval to print, we start to prepare your paper and design to go to press. We like to allow 15 working days for the preparation, printing & packaging of your pieces.

Postage: 1 to 5+ Days

We post all our orders via Australia post Express. Delivery times vary depending on your location.

When to Order

Save the Dates: 8-14 months before your Wedding

Save the dates are sent out 6-12 months before the wedding. Save the dates are particularly useful for destination weddings, or weddings held where many guests are from interstate or overseas. They are also a great opportunity to have a bit of fun with your design, and give your guests a glimpse of your celebration to come.

Invitations: 4-6 months before your Wedding

To allow your guests time to RSVP, invitations are generally sent out eight to sixteen weeks before your wedding. Allowing time for design and printing of your pieces you will need to place your order 4-6 months prior to your wedding or earlier. However, we recommend ordering your invitations as soon as all of your information (time, date, locations, etc.) is finalised thus allowing as much time as possible for the process.

Wedding Day Pieces: 2-3 months before your Wedding

Wedding day pieces should be be ordered as soon as possible. You will have many things to organise in the weeks leading up to you wedding day so it is a good idea to have your wedding day stationery organised early. We recommend ordering program covers, favour tags and thank you cards at the same time as your invitations, which prevents any last-minute rush and also allows us to match ink colours perfectly.

Rush Orders

If you need your invitations in a hurry, please contact us ASAP about placing a rush order. Rush orders generally have a surcharge from 10-30%. Rush orders are completed ASAP, with our minimum turnaround being 10 working days for printing, once design is finalised. First proofs and revisions are provided within 1 working day.
